Baled out & landed unconcious in a field near Sorbon (~40kms NE of Reims). |
6 Sep 1943 |
Taken by car to a house in Rethel (very near to Sorbon). Leonard Marsh (RAF) was brought to see him. Stayed there until ... |

Taken by car to Ville-sur-Retourne (~16kms SE of Rethel), where Marsh was staying. |

Raymonde Beuré moved Clarke
& Marsh to a cabin, she owned, in woods near to Sillery. Val Johnson (RAF) & Fred Murray (USAAF) arrived while they were there. |

Germans begain searching the woods, so they were moved, possibly to Gaston Georgeton's house in Sillery. |
