Ian Robb (RAF) and Carlyle Darling (USAAF) stayed at the home of Eugène Moussé from the end of October 1943 for 12-15 days.
Jacques Hodin, a resistance figure and Possum helper, was taken in by the Moussé family on 20th May 1944, while on the run from the Gestapo.
Eugène and Edmond Moussé were arrested on 21st June 1944, but Hodin was hidden in a room and evaded capture. They were deported to Neuengamme and assigned initially to the Bremen-Farge kommando (forced-labour camp) then to Watenstedt-Salzgitter. Eugène Moussé died on 12th April 1945 while being transported to Ravensbrück. Edmond was repatriated on 1st June 1945.
