Lhuerre, Bronner & Dunning stayed there with the station master (Roger Mangenot), while Brion & Clark carried on to Reims. On 14th November 1943, Lhuerre had planned to escort Everett Childs, William Howell & Jay Jolley (USAAF) by train from Bar-le-Duc to a small local station, but missed the stop & arrived in Reims after curfew.
